Marijuana
About Marijuana, a really good thing about Massachusetts and Maine is their legalization of Marijuana. Dispensaries are becoming more numerous with each passing month. They charge a bundle for pot, but it is generally better than street Marijuana.
Alcohol, which I happen to have very little use for, I believe involves many, many more highway deaths than Marijuana. Marijuana is good for anxiety. In New Hampshire, I didn’t like feeling like a criminal breaking the law by smoking Marijuana. In Massachusetts and Maine, it’s a great feeling not being a law breaker and smoking. I’m proud of Governor Sununu of New Hampshire decriminalizing the use of Marijuana. Legalization usually follows decriminalization by 3 to 5 years. I look forward to smoking Marijuana on a daily basis, and I’ve heard that some people use it for pain management.
The only time I did what I call heavy drugs was on Cape Cod in 1980. I put opium on a coat hanger and put it on the stove, inhaling the smoke coming from the coat hanger. When I was in a hot shower that night, the steam made me think that I was one of the Jews being gassed at Auschwitz and other detention centers for Jews. I have never screamed so loud. I was very upset but told Sara from Wellfleet, MA, “Don’t mother me.” It was days later when I was safe at Nashua Memorial Hospital that the finals effects of the opium happened. My arms and legs were twisting uncontrollably, and I was afraid I was going to die. It was weeks after before I was right again.
In closing, I would say that I did a lot of cocaine from 1979 to 2001 with only one complete break for 3 years during that time. From 1988 for about 10 years, the planes actually preferred communicating with me when I was high on coke. I cannot recommend anybody trying cocaine. There’s just too much to lose, things like your house.
